Practice Update Amidst Uncertainty

Dear Clients,

These are certainly unprecedented times and the landscape is everchanging.  I’m sure you’ve had a lot of these messages from other businesses you are dealing with so I will make this as clear and concise as I can.

As you may have heard from the Prime Minister yesterday, physiotherapy clinics have been encouraged to stay open to avoid clients needing GP/hospital visits for musculoskeletal reasons.

It’s important to note that we are a low volume clinic.  There are only ever two physiotherapists working at the same time, hence we don’t have more than 5-6 people in the clinic all at once, including staff.  We have made some changes to our clinical pilates studio to ensure maximum individual space and have been going above and beyond what’s required from a sanitisation stand point.

We have moved with the times regarding telehealth in the event that many of you may be working from home or even in isolation and may need some advice, guidance, supervision or have questions answered.  Bare with us though, it is certainly new to me!

If you have an appointment you may opt to wait in your car and receive a call when you’re ready to be seen to avoid any time in the waiting area and settle your account over the phone.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to stay home completely, we have increased our ability to provide a home visit service.

Finally, you can also do what you’ve always done!

I hope we can all stay well and as positive as possible during this time.  I wanted to share with you my personal email andrew@beaumarisphysio.com.au, in the event you’d would like to discuss any of the above solutions.  Please do not hesitate to get in touch, ever.  You may want injury advice, home work station advice or get some clarity on what we are doing at the Beaumaris Physiotherapy Centre to ensure we get past the next period.  Please also be aware that regulations are changing on a day to day basis, and I will be in touch in the event of a significant change.  But for now we are certainly here if you need us.

I want to thank you for your support over a long time and especially now.

All the best, keep well,

Andrew Parisi
